Membrane BioreactorMembrane Bioreactor (MBR) is a wastewater treatment technology that is efficient and environmentally friendly. It is a simple activated sludge process in which the conventional secondary clarifier is replaced by a membrane separation process (microfiltration or ultrafiltration). MBR is able to maintain a high solid concentration and long sludge retention time.
